“Marcel’s favourite breakfast”
Opa Vonck maintained that black pepper was not healthy for you unless it was cooked.
Ingredients
A cast iron frying pan
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 eggs
Directions
1. Heat the frying pan on high heat. Melt the butter. Grind fresh black pepper into the pan. Fry the black pepper.
2. Break two eggs into the frying pan. Break the yolks. Turn the heat to medium.
3. Fry the eggs until crisp brown on the bottom. Flip the eggs and fry until crispy on the other side.
4. Serve with a sprig of parsley and toast on the side.
