Macaroni and Cheese - Oma


“Oh Dad, I love this all”. Mum

Ingredients

Macaroni
Salt and pepper
Strong cheese
Milk
Butter

Directions

1. Boil macaroni until ¾ done
2. Run cold water over and rinse away all milky white starchiness. Using hands, mix macaroni as water is running over it to ensure all starch is gone. You don’t want sticky macaroni
3. In a roasting pan, put macaroni, salt, pepper and lots and lots of cheese (strong one please!)
4. Pour milk to top of macaroni and add lots of butter on top
5. Bake uncovered in oven at 350˚ F
Once cheese starts to melt, take out and stir. Replace back in oven until bubbly brown.
